Shipping Policy

Each artwork created by Consolatio is entirely one-of-a-kind. Because every sculpture varies in fragility, size, weight, shape, and material composition, all packaging and shipping methods are individually customized to protect the integrity of each piece during transit. Price of each piece includes a portion of shipping.

Packaging & Protection

Every artwork is packaged with specialized protective materials tailored specifically to that sculpture. For pre-made pieces and ready-to-ship collections, shipping support and protective packaging are included in the listed price.

For custom commissions, shipping needs may vary depending on the complexity and fragility of the design.

Custom Commission Shipping

Some commissioned works may require alternative construction methods for safe transportation. In certain cases, preserved flowers or sculptural elements may not be permanently fused to the vase or base structure unless the client:

Requests full permanent assembly, and
Approves the additional cost associated with advanced custom packaging and protection.

This will always be discussed transparently with the client before final production and shipment.

Processing & Shipping Timeline

Because each piece is handmade and carefully prepared, shipping timelines may vary.

Most orders will ship within 30 days of creation or completed payment.
Larger, highly customized, or more delicate commissions may require additional preparation time and may ship up to 30 days after payment.

If additional time is needed due to the complexity of the artwork or packaging requirements, the client will be personally contacted with updated shipping estimates.

Important Notes

Once a package has been transferred to the shipping carrier, Consolatio Arts is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather conditions, or transit disruptions.
Every order will include a tracking number once shipped.
If your package is marked as delivered but has not been received, please review the Return & Restoration Policy for additional information or contact [your email].
Customers are encouraged to inspect their artwork upon arrival and contact us immediately if damage has occurred during shipping.
Due to the delicate nature of preserved floral sculptures and mixed-media artwork, careful handling is strongly recommended after delivery.

Each botanical element undergoes a thoughtful preservation process that begins with time. While I do my best to preserve each flower’s color and natural form, subtle changes are part of the beauty of working with preserved botanicals. Once dried, delicate areas are reinforced with UV resin along with protective preservation methods, giving something inherently temporary a longer life. The reclaimed vessels undergo their own transformation—engraved to create a frosted texture, then slowly and carefully oil-painted with my signature pattern, and more. Reclaimed textiles are wrapped, tied, and fused to the glass with UV resin, bringing each material together into a single sculptural piece.
